CONDITIONS OF ENTRY – KIDSArtfest 2011

1.All works are to be submitted for sale.
A4 works will be sold for $20 and A3 works for $25. Purchasers will be offered a special discount at Jakemans Art Supplies & Framing, Wentworth Falls, for mounting or framing after the exhibition.

2.A commission of 25% of the sale price will be charged on all works sold.
Proceeds from works sold will be mailed after the event.

3.Paintings are to be submitted on an A4 or A3 sheet and will be pegged during  the exhibition. A limit of 1 painting per artist. Wet paintings will not be accepted.

4.KIDSArtfest is open to artists of Primary School age only. Secondary School students are welcome to exhibit as part of the general exhibition. (See website for Conditions of Entry)

5.Please place the artist’s first name, age and the title on the back of the work (Make sure it doesn’t show through!). Please DO NOT put your contact details on the artwork,. Attach the entry form to your entry with a paper clip.

6.    Every possible care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted for loss or damage to entries. 

7.     The Falls Art Festival Committee reserves the right to select the works to be shown, and works not selected are to be collected at the normal collection time.

8.KidsArtfest entires may be mailed or hand delivered to the following address, Wentworth Falls Public School, Falls Rd, Wentworth Falls, Please mail works with a cardboard insert backing or rolled in a postal roll. Paintings must be received by Monday 24th October. 

9.The Festival will be open to the public on Friday 28th October from 7:30pm to10:00pm, Saturday 29th October from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 30th October from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

10.Unsold work may be collected from the school after 4:00pm to 5.30pm on Sunday 30th October.
Uncollected works will be held for one week only.

11.All exhibited works will be judged by our expert judges. One prize will be awarded to a work of outstanding merit.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

•Artfest Gala Opening:  7.30pm Friday 28th October

•  Collection of Unsold work:  From 4.00pm to 5.30pm Sunday 30th October
