CONDITIONS OF ENTRY – CRAFT


  1. 1.   All works are to be submitted for sale.


  1. 2.  There is an entry fee of $6.00 per lineal metre of bench space for the display of your work (minimum charge $6.00 - a lineal metre is measured, facing the bench, from left to right).  A commission of 25% of the sale price will be charged on all works sold.


  1. 3.  Each item of craft must be clearly labelled with a removable label ON STRING detailing your craft code, item number and price.


  1. 4.  Each craft piece is to be written up on the inventory sheet.


  1. 5.  While every effort will be made to display all entries, should space become limited, it may be necessary to rotate items during the weekend.


  1. 6.  Craftspeople are welcome to set up their own displays using their own props or those arranged by us.  Craftspeople are also welcome to remain on site during the weekend to oversee their work, although this is not a requirement of exhibition.


  1. 7.  Every possible care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted for loss or damage to entries.  Exhibitors are advised to have their work insured.


  1. 8.  Craft items are to be delivered to the school on Friday 22nd October between 8:00am and midday.  If you are unable to deliver at these times, please contact the craft convener.


  1. 9.  The Festival will be open to the public on Friday 22nd October from 7:30pm to 10:00pm, Saturday 23rd October from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 24th October from 10:00am to 4:00pm.


  1. 10. Unsold work may be collected after 4:00pm on Sunday 25th October.


  1. 11. The art fest committee reserves the right to exclude specific items or exhibitors from the exhibition

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY – ART


  1. 1.      All works are to be submitted for sale.


  1. 2.     There is an entry fee of $6.00 per painting.  A commission of 25% of the sale price will be charged on all works sold.


  1. 3.    Each painting is to be suitably finished, ready for hanging.  Maximum size of each painting is to be 900mm x 900mm.  A limit of 4 paintings is permitted per artist. Wet paintings will not be accepted.


  1. 4.     The artist’s name and address, and the title and price of the work are to be on the back of the painting.  Please check that the catalogue cost is the same as that on the back of your work.


  1. 5.    Every possible care will be taken, but no liability will be accepted for loss or damage to entries.  Exhibitors are advised to have their work insured.


  1. 6.     The Falls Art Festival Committee reserves the right to select the works to be shown, and works not selected are to be collected at the normal collection time.


  1. 7.     Paintings can be delivered to the school on Thursday 21st October between 2:30pm and 6:00pm.  If unable to deliver at these times, please contact Brenda (number below) to make alternative arrangements.


  1. 8.    The Festival will be open to the public on Friday 22nd October from 7:30pm to10:00pm, Saturday 23rd October from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 24th October from 10:00am to 4:00pm.


  1. 9.      Unsold work may be collected from the school after 4:00pm to 5.30pm on Sunday 24th October.


  1. 10.   The attached Entry Form with “Notification of Intention to Exhibit” is to be returned to Brenda Elliott (details listed below) no later than Friday 24th September 2009.
